Making Tax Digital
What is making tax digital?
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is an initiative brought in by HMRC to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their taxes right. Thousands of companies are now realising the benefits and swapping spreadsheets and paper records for the new digital system. For now, Making Tax Digital only concerns VAT submissions, but over the next few months and years, it will include Income Tax and Corporation Tax too.Â
Since this will be the new standard, it’s crucial to choose software that’s user-friendly, HMRC-recognised, and MTD-compliant. It’s also possible to get MTD bridging software – which is designed for those who want to keep using spreadsheets instead of taking the leap into 100% MTD software.
Xeinadin will give you professional help to choose, install and maintain the right software for your business so that you don’t overspend or under-spec, and to ensure it all runs smoothly.
