Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life. - Omar Khayyam
After graduating from the “Uzbekistan State Mining Institute” and having acquired a qualification as an interpreter in English and German, I moved to the UK to follow my mum’s steps and become an accountant. In 2013 I was admitted to the London School of Business and Finance to study for an ACCA qualification, but very soon realised that my interest also lies in taxation. In 2019 I have enrolled to the “Chartered Institute of Taxation” as a student and I am currently continuing to progress towards the CTA and ACCA qualifications.
I began my career in a boutique accountancy practice in 2017 (mainly working with Russian Speaking clients) and over the years gained tax and accounting experience, including work in personal tax, specialising in HNWI and UHNWI, non-UK tax residents with UK sources of income and/or gains, advising Non-Domiciled individuals, pre arrival tax planning, Remittance Basis Rules, statutory residency tests and split year treatment, amongst other tax related matters.
As well as English, I am fluent in Russian and Uzbek languages.
I am thrilled to have joined Elman Wall and be a part of such a brilliant team of experts.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy travelling, going on the long hikes with my husband and our dog, cooking, and spending time with my family.
